Ghostwriting Books & Book Proposals

Full Manuscript

Whether practical and useful, innovative and wild, or heart-wrenching turned triumphant—together, we can write your book.

The process begins with a Spark Session, where you share your story with me over the course of several interviews, send me any materials you have been actively working on or have squirreled away, and I draft a sample scene and overall story arc. Once we determine we are a good fit, we map out a timeline and schedule, conduct initial interviews, and draft an outline.

Aligned on the direction we are taking, we enter into a phase of manuscript interviews and then I begin to write. Together, we proceed steadily, boldly, and with flexibility to… The End. We strengthen and tighten our first full draft through two rounds of editing and revising before handing it over to an outside set of eyes and copyeditor.

I collaborate on no more than two full-length book projects per year. Pricing is determined on a per-project basis, in accordance with industry standards, and payable in installments. Each book project is unique and word count varies, but in general you can expect to have a complete manuscript in hand within ten to fourteen months.

Book Proposal

If you are writing a non-fiction book and want to go the traditional publishing route, you need a book proposal.

I can write your proposal or collaborate with you on the draft you have in hand.

Proposals include the following elements: Table of Contents, Author Bio and Platform, Competitive Titles and Marketing Plan, Chapter Summaries, and Sample Chapters. Submission guidelines for agents and small publishers vary and must be strictly followed.

Pricing is determined on a per-project basis. Depending on word count, you can expect to have a complete proposal in hand within two to three months.
